Staging areas and Off Highway vehicles
Dear Editor:
The following is an open letter to Mayor and council.
After some discussion with our club, we,
the Crow Snow Riders, as off highway vehicle users are very concerned
with the staging/off loading areas in the Crowsnest Pass. With our
snowmobile season fast approaching, parking will become an issue in all
of our existing staging areas as well as other areas nearby. We will
need places to park.
There is no doubt that visitors and
residents alike will start parking and off loading on the streets and
alleys in restricted areas, if they do not see available parking room at
the staging areas.
The Crow Snow Riders along with the Quad
Squad are looking forward to the opportunity to discuss this with
Municipal Council and the SRD so that together we may work out a
solution to this growing issue. We look forward to communicating a
discussion date with you.
